Klamath Lake     Lake of the Woods    Pronghorn Lake

Klamath Lake

This is the largest fresh water lake in Oregon and one of the largest in the United States. Although it is very long, it is also very shallow, averaging a depth of only 8 feet. It is fed by the Williamson River and is connected to the smaller Agency Lake, by a wide deep channel., so you are fishing for the same species of fish in both bodies of water. The Fabled RedBand Trout here average a weight of 4 pounds and catching larger is not uncommon.
Elevation- 4140 ft
Season- year round (best April-October)
Match the Hatch: we use Damsels, PMD's, Caddis, Chironomids, dragon flies, and calibaetis
